Des Moines Featured in Here Magazine

Now that the 2020 Iowa Caucuses are complete, I assumed that we’d see a drop in national media covering Des Moines. Maybe not, though…

Here is the print magazine from the folks behind Away luggage. They recently featured Des Moines on their site and editors interviewed Mike Draper of Raygun fame for the piece. He gave suggestions for things to do (and see) around the city. Here’s the link.

I was surprised by the exclusion of both St. Kilda and Horizon Line from his to-do list, but I suppose everyone has their favorite spots.

FWIW: when I think of Des Moines in its current iteration, it’s impossible to ignore what St. Kilda and Horizon Line have contributed. Oh well! Still fun to see our city gain exposure.
