What's Coming up at Des Moines Performing Arts?

Get in, loser, we’re going to Des Moines Civic Center…

Des Moines Performing Arts has a quite the record of bringing high-quality shows to the Greater Des Moines area. Last year, we had Hamilton and just a few months ago, Dear Evan Hansen made almost two million dollars over five days. DMPA just made their season announcement and I’m please to say that it’s just as good as we’ve come to expect! Here’s what’s coming up…

Things kick off in October with Mean Girls and then we have this incredible array to look forward to: Jesus Christ Superstar, Come From Away, Anastasia, My Fair Lady, and the Band’s Visit. Plus, we’ll have add-ons like Wicked, the Book of Mormon, and Riverdance.

I always tell my friends: order season tickets! It’s the most affordable option and allows you have to have the same seat for every performance. More info on all of that right here. Don’t wait! I love this city and its cultural offerings. It has come to the point where I don’t feel the need to fly out to Broadway to see a show. I just think, “Eventually, it’ll be here.” And so far, I haven’t been proven wrong.
