Hamilton Tickets Coming Soon to Des Moines

Tickets to Hamilton will be available to the public next week! More info (and some tips!) below.

Tickets go on sale Friday, November 17th at 9:00am. Prices range from $54.00 up to $148.00, with a select number of premium seats going for $303.50. It's so funny that we're even discussing this right now because the show runs June 27th through July 25th! But that should tell you something about the caliber of this show when people are already bustling for tickets.

Just like the show's run on Broadway, there will also be a lottery for $10 orchestra seats. Basically, every night there will be ten of the best seats in the house up for grabs! More details on that loterry will be coming soon. Obviously, I'll do my very, very best to keep you posted. 

You don't want to miss your shot at scoring the hottest ticket in town! So here are some tips:

  • create an online account with DMPA prior to the day ticket's go on sale. 

  • tickets are also available by phone at 515-246-2300, or in person at the Des Moines Civic Center Ticket Office. Obviously, online will probably be easiest. 

  • DMPA is strongly encouraging folks to only purchase tickets from the two DMPA-affiliated sources - Des Moines Civic Center's box office and DMPA.org. They can't guarantee the legitimacy of tickets bought elsewhere. Plus, price inflation etc etc. Be smart, guys.

  • Finally, you can only purchase four tickets per household. That goes for the entire run of the show, too.
